You are a Wounded Bird On a road with passers by You are a Wounded Bird But they would let you die Before they broke your wing They stole your will to fly Remember your sweet song Now I only hear your cry You are a Wounded Bird Still waiting just to die I will mend your wing If you’ll relearn to fly All the people pray The foolish and the wisest All the people say It’s you who flew the highest Remember all those days You can have them back again You’re not a Wounded Bird You can dry your eye You’re not a Wounded Bird Here’s the reason why I only fixed your wing It was you who chose to fly You’re not a wounded bird You can dry your eye You’re not a Wounded Bird Here’s the reason why I can hear you sing As you embrace the sky

Each Other's Shadows You got a long way to go You got a long way to go So Be good to yourself You got a long way to go You got a long long way to go So Be good to yourself Be good to one another Like Sisters and Brothers Be good to yourself You got a lot of love to give You got a lot more love to give So Let that love show Be good to one another Like Sisters and Brothers Let that love show Cause We All Live in Each Others Shadows I got a lot of time for you I got a lot of time I do, but Oh How time just goes So be good to one another Like Sisters and brothers Cause time just goes! And we all live in each other’s shadows I live within your shadow You live within my shadow We live within each other’s shadows.

Gravity is a part of me Gravity is apart of me It's a part of you And the whole Cosmos too Some say In Gravity A exerts a force on B Just like you and me But it's relativity I think it's time That I went and made you mine Cause you exert an inertial force on me Some call it love I call it Gravity Gravity Your loving soul It's a big black hole You drag me in Keep me in this spin Now I know I'm never gonna let you go Cause you exert an inertial force on me Some call it love I call it Gravity Gravity Now we're making waves Stretching space and time And in a billion years they might hear our chime With their ligo But I'm never gonna let you go Cause you exert an inertial force on me Some call it love I call it Gravity Gravity

Melt those guns Throw those bullets down Make some new technology That will shoot down the anger and fear That comes between you and me Melt our hearts Tear our borders down Let there be no more refugees For nature is one on this ball under the sun I know I'm dreaming but let me dream please And now I awaken and what can I do? I know this is the way of the world But I don't have to be happy about it, So let's Melt our minds Help us see from the inside we on earth all are one Or else sometime after we've destroyed it all for greed A new day will come When they’ll Melt those guns Throw those bullets down Make some new technology That will shoot down the anger and fear That comes between you and me

‘Twas on one fine March morning, I bid New Orleans adieu And I took the road to Jackson Town, my fortune to renew And I cursed all foreign money, no credit could I gain Which filled my heart with a longing for, the Lakes of Pontchartrain So I stepped on board a railroad car beneath the morning sun And I rode the rods ‘til evening where I lay me down again Well all strangers they were no friends to me 'til a dark girl towards me came And I fell in love with a Creole Girl, by the Lakes of Pontchartrain I said "My pretty Creole lass, me money, it is no good, Were it not for the alligators, sure I'd sleep here in the wood" "You're welcome here kind stranger though our house is very plain, we never turn a stranger out on the banks of Pontchartrain" So she took me into her mammy's house and she treated me right well And the hair upon her shoulders in jet black ringlets fell To try and paint her beauty, I am sure it would be in vain So handsome was my Creole girl by the Lakes of Pontchartrain So I asked her if she'd marry me, she said that never could be For she had got a lover and he was far at sea And she said that she would wait for him and true she would remain Til he'd return to his Creole girl by the Lakes of Pontchartrain So It's fare thee well, my Creole girl, I'll never see you more And i won’t forget your kindness in that cottage by the shore And at each social gathering, a flowing glass I'll drain And I'll drink to the health of my Creole girl, by the Lakes of Pontchartrain
